Terms of use
The rules for using RuteKita and Kaskita. By using Garasi Lab apps you agree to these terms and the Privacy policy. The Indonesian version is the governing text.
About Garasi Lab
Garasi Lab is a personal project of Handiyan Juansah. It is not a company, not a government service, and not part of any transport operator or financial institution.
Free and as is
- The apps are free and ad-free. If paid features ever arrive, these terms change first.
- The apps run on a personal server and may pause because of power, internet, or maintenance, without notice. We try to keep them running but do not guarantee they are always available or error-free.
- Keep your own copy of records that matter to you. In Kaskita: CSV export.
RuteKita
- Timetables, train positions, delays, fares, and routes are estimates from official timetables, open data, and rider reports, and may differ from reality. For official information, follow the operator's announcements at stations and its official channels.
- RuteKita is not an official KAI Commuter, MRT Jakarta, or Transjakarta app.
- Info Lintas: report only what you see yourself. No false reports, other people's personal data, links, or abusive words. Reports that break the rules are removed, and devices that repeatedly break them are blocked from Info Lintas.
- CCTV video belongs to its owners; RuteKita only displays it.
Kaskita
- Kaskita is a record-keeping tool. It is not a bank or an e-wallet, it does not move money, and it is not financial advice. The numbers in Kaskita are only as good as what you record.
- The AI assistant only reads your records and can misread or draw wrong conclusions. Check before you decide.
- Protect your PIN and phone. Anything done with your PIN is treated as done by you. Turn on two-step verification.
- One account per person, aged 18 and over.
- If you record other people's data (names for debts, phone numbers you invite), make sure they do not mind, and use it only for your family's needs.
- Family members can view your records. Invite and join only people you trust.
What is not allowed
- Trying to break in, testing security without permission, or accessing other people's data.
- Overloading the servers, for example with automated or bulk requests.
- Impersonating others, or using the apps for fraud or anything unlawful.
Found a security hole? Report it to privasi@garasilab.com. We are grateful and will not pursue good-faith reports.
Ending use
- We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, giving the reason when we can.
- You may stop at any time and delete your account in the app.
- If an app is shut down, we give at least 30 days' notice and a chance to download your data.
Liability
We are responsible for our own mistakes as the law provides. We are not responsible for losses caused by RuteKita estimates that differ from reality, financial decisions you make, or disruptions beyond our control such as power, internet, and third-party services.
Copyright and trademarks
The names and look of Garasi Lab, RuteKita, and Kaskita belong to their maker. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL). Transport operators' data and trademarks belong to each operator.
Changes to these terms
Important changes are announced on this page and in the apps at least 14 days before they take effect. If you do not agree, you may stop using the apps and delete your account.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Disputes are settled by discussion first; if that does not resolve them within 30 days, through the Tangerang District Court (Pengadilan Negeri Tangerang).
